MP Manuel Tilman from the Committee C for Economy, Finance and Anti-Corruption said the World Bank, Asian Development Bank (ADB) and JICA would manage themselves the money which would be lent to Timor-Leste.
During a telephone interview, Tilman said the World Bank would manage US $ 40 million which would be allocated to the roads construction of Ainaro and Same for about three years and would start next year.
JICA would construct the roads from Dili to Manatuto, Natarbora and Baucau. The roads which linked Dili, Tibar, Gleno, Liquisa and Batugade would be constructed by ADB, he said.
The total amount of the money which will be lent to Timor-Leste is US 60 million without interest, but the country will only return the capital of the money borrowed.
