This short video was recorded in Beheda near Mantuto by me when I was on my way to Manatuto.
It seems that those Chinese who work on electricity wiring are employing local kids; they are around 9-12 years old.
I saw three of them working with the Chinese and I have no idea how they've got involved. This is a serious problem if they employing those kids either officially or not.
If you have contact with UNICEF or ILO, please inform them and a proper investigation must be conducted to see if the contract they signed with Timor Leste Government have a section regarding child labour.
