WELCOME 2012, GOOD BYE AMP!

.
HADOMI MAUBERE deixou um comentário em, "Komunidade Quinamoko Ameasa Hamlaha"

We don't need to criticize Xanana's government anymore because the failures are so apparent and they are speaking for themselves.

AMP government t led by Xanana Gusmao has miserably failed in delivering the promises of development in all sectors to Timor Leste!

For four years during AMP governance they have spent USD 2 billions just for nothing. No value at all for the big amount of money spent!

No need for more words because widespread misery and poverty in Timor Leste is screaming loudly for the government's failures.

And poverty is a crime! In Timor Leste's context the victims are Timorese people and the perpetrator is a Timorese corrupted government!

Justice is not blind, it is just a slow process but it will be done. May God save our beloved Timor Leste!

Welcome 2012, good bye AMP!

Lets us see

-The government has resolved the 2006 crisis and the problem of 200.000 IDP created by Fretilin government's inability to provide stability by allowing its own ministers to distribute military weapons to party militants.

-The government started paying pensions to elderly and, handicapped, war veterans, widows and orphans.

-The government has distributed agricultural machinery to farmers leading to an increase in agricultural production.

-The government has undertaken a program of small infrastructure projects throughout the country run by timorese businesses thus spreading the wealth to all parts of the country and bringing improvements.

The government has paid for hundreds of scholarships to develop capable human resources that will benefit East Timor well into the future. Many of these scholarships included studies in the area of natural resources like oil which is so important for East Timor to be able to defend its interests in the field.

These and many other government measures have resulted in the reduction of poverty by 9% according to statistics from all relevant international institutions. The increase in people's life expectancy by 2,5 years.

-The government has bought two navy patrol boats that are being used to defend Timor's sovereignty through by stopping illegal fishing that cost the country many millions of dollars per year. More are planned.

-The government has invested heavily in the national electrification program that will provide 24 hour electricity which is the basic requirement for future national development in all sectors.

November 2011 Dili and Manatuto will start to benefit from this, and all the other districts covered by mid next year.

These are just examples among numerous other programs and projects that have been and will continue to be undertaken by the government.

The government continues to pay the pensions of former government and parliamentary figures like Mari Alkatiri, Luolo, etc and also pays for their luxury houses, new four wheel drives every 5 years, overpaid consultants who do nothing, drivers, health benefits for them and their families, 2 trips overseas for them and their families, offices with full facilities including internet. All this thanks to the rushed Life Pensions law that Fretilin managed to cook up just before they lost government.

But I guess this is not enough and much more still needs to be done.

So I guess I have to agree with Hadomi Maubere.

The government has done nothing in the last 4 years.

Not to mention that private investment has doubled, tripled quadrupled since the current government came into power. A definite vote of confidence in the way Timor-Leste is going forward.

not to mention that a progress that is not visible is that Timor-Leste freedom of press is improved a lot under this current government.

Child mortality have been reduced, family planning program is in place.

Abracos
