Prostitution is backed by panderers: Gonzaga

Acting Commander for Investigation Police (PNTL), Calisto Gonzaga said basically the ongoing prostitution in the country is backed by panderers and is a more criminal than a prostitute who gets involved in prostitution.

"Panderer is a serious problem, as they facilitate people to come to get involved in prostitution."

This is a serious crime, as the state those who get involved directly in prostitution will not be charged strongly, yet the panderers will be punished strongly.

Gonzaga also said the Government and security authorities are currently making efforts to fight illegal drugs, as it is being the public's major concerns.

A local resident, Victor Moniz called on the police to work hard to find out suspicious places used for distributing illegal drugs in the country.
