A lecture of the Political Science Faculty from the National University (UNTL), Julio Aparicio, said Anna Pessoa Pinto, Lucia Lobato and Fernanda Borges are competent to become the next president of the country; it good is good for them to run for presidential elections.
"Women also have the right. They can run for presidential elections in 2012. But the important thing is that they should carry out their work well to serve this country and the people," Aparicio said.
Director for "Rede Feto", Yasinta Lujina called on the political leaders to nominate women to run for the presidential elections next year.
