The Parliament President, Fernando “Lasama” de Araujo, said Fretilin is insulting the Parliamentary Majority Alliance (AMP) Government led by Prime Minister Xanana Gusmao. Lasama added that PM Gusmao is a promoter of development, peace and implementing law and democratic growth in the country.
“I think the statement of Fretilin is an insult to me and to the Government and all the people who are participating and accompanying development and democratic growth which is based on the rules,” Lasama said.
Lasama made the statements to respond to the statements by Fretilin saying that the Parliamentary Majority Alliance (AMP) Government led by Prime Minister Xanana Gusmao is an obstacle to the national development process.
