KAK trains Youth Parliament

The Timorese Anti-Corruption Commission (KAK) is training the Timorese Youth Parliament in order to improve their understanding and knowledge about the work of KAK.

The Program Manager, Eurico Nelson Carvalho, said the training was aimed at improving the skills and understanding of the Youth Parliament on corruption, public speaking and identification of issues.

“Firstly, we want to improve the knowledge of the Youth Parliament in the areas of corruption, and second, is the technique of public speaking, and the third is to improve their skills in the area of identification of issues,” Carvalho said.

The total number of participants is 36, and they will continue to hold such training for the Youth Parliament in Baucau and Suai districts.

The training was supported by the State Secretary for Youth and Sport and the United Nations Agency, UNICEF in Timor-Leste.
