A Timorese Defense Force (F-FDTL) soldier has beaten a sixty-seven year old lady to death, as she was suspected of being engaged in witchcraft. The suspect killed the old lady last Sunday after she [the victim] gave her spouse a banana.
Speaking to journalists, Maskarenas village chief, Gilberto Galuco, affirmed that the individual F-FDTL soldier maltreated the victim in a house.
The suspect has been detained by the Military Police for investigation purposes and the dead body was taken to the hospital for an autopsy.
