The Anti-Corruption Commission (KAK) has held training and a conference about money investigations and the implementation of the United Nations Convention against Corruption. KAK Commissioner, Aderito de Jesus Soares, said the objective of the training was to improve the skills and knowledge of the investigators in money investigations.
"This training is aimed at improving the skills of the investigators about money investigations, because in investigations we not only investigate witnesses, but also documents of finance.
The third day of the conference was about a self-assessment check list this because the Parliament has ratified a convention of the United Nations and therefore we have an obligation to have a self-assessment check list," Soares said.
Soares added that KAK is investigating eight corruption cases which were dispatched by the Public Prosecution, adding that he will not say from which ministry these cases are from as it is a judicial secret.
