Fretilin Faction calls on President Horta to tell the truth

Natalino dos Santos, from Fretilin Faction, has called on President Jose Ramos Horta, to tell the truth when testifying in the courts regarding the trial of Deputy Prime Minister for Social Issues, Jose Luis Guterres.

"We are calling on President Jose Ramos Horta to reveal the truth in the trial in the Dili District Courts," dos Santos said.

He added that the accusations made by the Public Prosecution against Guterres are unfair because there were some people who signed the contract for Guterres' wife who have not been included in the accusations.

Prime Minister Xanana Gusmao said the decision of the Parliament to suspend and remove the political immunity of Guterres is positive to allow him [Guterres] to appear in the court to testify.
