The Anti-Corruption Commission (KAK), held a workshop at UNPAS in order to speak about their function to the new students of UNPAS, and explain that KAK's function is to prevent corrupt practices in the country.

The Deputy of the Anti-Corruption Commission, Jose Neves, said that KAK would carry out its role and work efficiently to combat and prevent people from engaging in corrupt practices, as it is outlined in the penal code Article 292-299.

"The penal code article 292-299 has guaranteed KAK will carry out its work optimally," Neves said. Neves rejected widespread rumors saying that KAK is dependent on the Government as false and baseless, adding that KAK is an independent institution and does not depend on any Government institutions in the country.

Oh yes! KAK is an independent institution that take orders from the government! So much ado for nothing!

How many years is this KAK has been put in place? How many people have being prosecuted? NONE!

Okey.. KAK is in the final process of arranging its basics infrastructure including legislation, management team, personnel training, and finance at the same time. Once everything cleared, it should start its investigation on corruption cases that had been in place by members of the first government and then moves on to the AMP one. So, just wait and see.

One wonders how KAK has been set up! And what were they doing? Promise are promise but then everyone promise to people that they would do this and that and nothing come out of those promises. KAK is no exception!
