MP Maria Reis from Fretilin has called on the Timorese Anti-Corruption Commission (KAK) to investigate corruption cases based on the spirit of nationalism.
"KAK should carry out its work optimally and we are waiting for the results of their work. They should not investigate only those cases involving more than US$ 259 thousand but also cases involving US$ 5 cents," MP Reis said.
MP Osorio Florindo from Fretilin also said it was important for KAK to investigate those cases and that they be filed with the Public Prosecution and KAK's office, because some of the Government officials had no car before, but they are now driving cars and have a good house.
MP Vidal "Riak Leman" de Jesus from the Social Democratic Party (PSD) said the Parliamentary Majority Alliance (AMP) Government will govern this country up to the end of its mandate, because the current Government has implemented its' programs to develop this country based on the needs of the people.
