WHERE ARE THE PRIORITIES?

.
In response to , " SHAME ON ALL OF US "

JOSÉ TEIXEIRA

It is stuff like this that makes you wonder where peoples' priorities are.

So much financial waste in this country and then news like this. My heart goes out to you guys Dan and staff and the little girl's family.

The National Parliament pays for a full time doctor to care for MPs and staff, and it seems there are alot of VIP programs for the elite, of which I am labelled a part of to access such services should I want to.

Yet this little girl was the most VIP I could think of, was denied at so many turns.

Not a good start to this year.

As a timorese, I cry for that little girl and her family. I say if this is the way our government treat its citizen then we as a nation is walking on the path to collective misery and failure!!

That's good. Western governments are held accountable by voters for their money spent trying to help countries which then elect rotten governments - like Timor-Leste!

Beware donor fatigue East Timor. There's plenty of other worthy recipients of international charity.
