Secretary-General of the Fretilin Party, Mari Alkatiri said the Parliamentary Majority Alliance (AMP) Government had been leading the country, but it had done nothing and its only committed corruption; therefore his party would vote against the general state budget for 2011.
"Three years in power, but doing nothing. It office term is about to end and use that for making miracle of corruption," Alkatiri said.
Alkatiri affirmed that the Government is proposing great amount of budget, but it is incapable of executing it. Alkatiri called on the Government to make revision to the referred budget proposal; otherwise the Fretilin will vote against it.
