Prime Minister Xanana Gusmao is very concerned about the global climate change which is happening in the world, as it would bring negative impact on the people of the country to face possible famine.
"Harvest in this year is too minim and this is because of climate change," PM Gusmao said.
PM Gusmao said that it was important for the Government and the Parliament to have better coordination to add some amount of money in the general state budget for 2011 in order to anticipate a possible famine that might happen.
Minister for Tourism, Commerce and Industry, Gil da Costa Alves said he had also presented the Parliament on the famine issue following the climate change in the world.
