Luta Hamutuk General Manager, Joazito Viana has called on Prime Minister Xanana Gusmao to suspend his ministers who are incapable of implementing the Parliamentary Majority Alliance (AMP) Government's programs.
Viana said the ministers who were incapable had prejudiced PM Gusmao during his office term.
According to him, the prime minister is the one who very interested in improving living conditions of the people in the country, yet some of the Government officials only want to seek benefits from the governance.
"The ministers have prejudiced the prime minister. PM Gusmao should actually make decision to sack the ministers who are incapable," Viana said.
Viana called on the AMP Government to take a high responsibility in the execution of the country's general state budget.

Where on earth can an NGO consisting only 4 to 5 people (who collaborated to set up an organization to apply for funding from International donors) have the legitimacy to call for the dissolution of a government cabinet?
It is happening in Timor, right? But you can all see - with Jose Teixeira's car parking outside the so called "LUTA HAMUTUK's" office on daily basis, one can be certain that its not the NGO's opinion alone, but its the opposition.
But that is how politics are being played out in Timor-Leste. Arrogant and incapable political parties using NGOs to voice their concerns. What a pity?

Don't be so precious! Luta Hamutuk is not calling for the dissolution of the AMP cabinet - unless in your opinion they are ALL incompetent and/or corrupt??
But Xanana won't sack Lucia, Emilia and others because then he would be admitting that he was a fool to appoint them in the first place.
And, asd we all know, Commandant Xanana never admits his mistakes!

When you don't read what people say you come up with such bizzare statement. As previous anonymous have said 'Luta Hamutuk' never called for the dissolution of the government but to get rid of the incompetent ministers. These two are a completely different matters. So DO NOT reply in hurry and read it carefully before utter a word.
Well brother, I can understand your version of interpretation of the statement.
An NGO, calling on a legitimate PM to suck one or two ministers, is another way of weakening the government - If the government bows before this call, it will be seen as a sign of weaknesses, bowing only to a call from an NGO.
This so called NGO (LUTA HAMUTUK) never presented any solid evidence to support its suggestions. What is on paper is information from newspapers - as usual, NGO's gathering around a coffee table, read newspapers and come up with bizarre "calls".
The "amateur" media of Timor pick it up, and of course the opposition's blog like this (THND) will jump into the same plate, hoping to take advantage of the news:
Politically, it will be interpreted as trying to "dissolve" the cabinet of a legitimate government. That is the way I see it.

How on earth a government which rules 1 millions timorese by already spending more than USD$ 2 billions without even showing an improvement of its citizen's life, can still be categorized as competent??.. It is happening only in Timor Leste under Xanana Gusmao's leadership!! Unless we are all ignorants citizens or we are so stupid to let ourselves being governed by ignorants ministers and Prime Minister in a chaotic coalition government called AMP!
Another thing for this year budgetary..just to compare Mozambique with 22 milions of population has USD $ 1.6 billions for 2011 State Budget and timorese government rules 1 million people with more than USD$ 1/2 billion for this year, if these billions dollar don't have any impact on the nation and its people's lives as the last 3 years have shown.. well for the sake of God we are so fucked up as a nation!
