Fretilin Secretary General, Mari Alkatiri said it was important not to make people to be dependent on the pension funds for the old people and the exguerilla fighters but it was important to capacitate them on how to manage the money.
"Old people and Veterans have the right to get pension fund, but how can we capacitate them, so that they can manage the money and they should not be dependent on the pension fund," Alkatiri said.
Alkatiri said Fretilin would organize those people who received the pension fund on how to manage the money.
