Antonio Bianco from Fretilin said the Government of Timor-Leste was depending on the Petroleum Funds and that would bring negative impact on the people of this country as they could become guest in their own country.
"If the Petroleum Funds become an option of the Parliamentary Majority Alliance (AMP) Government then one day we will become guest and slave in our country.
Is this the objective of the independence? We do not agree with the Government to spend money from petroleum funds, but it is important for the Government to make a proper plan in each ministry," MP Bianco said.
MP Fernanda Borges from the National Unity Party (PUN) said it was important for all the ministries to have program of economic productivity as it would employ the young Timorese.
