Baucau Diocese Bishop, Monsignor Basilio do Nacimento has called on the Timorese Public TV (TVTL) journalists not to breach the Timorese people's right to get access to information.
The bishop made the call in relation to the recent strike which was held by the TVTL's journalists. The bishop said the TVTL could be going on strike, but should not breach the people's right to information.
East Timor Crises Reflection Network has extended their solidarity to the TVTL journalists' who are on strike, as they are fighting to make change within the TVTL itself.
