MP Aderito Hugo da Costa from the National Congress for the Timorese Reconstruction (CNRT) has called on the Public Service Commission (KFP) to hold investigation into all the ministries.
MP da Costa made the Comment following the recent statements of the Public Service Commission President saying that nomination for Director General for Ministry of Economy and Development was illegal. “Public Service Commission should be creative. They should explain all the rules to the public. Who should be blamed because of this issue?” MP da Costa said.
MP Francisco Branco from the Fretilin Party said the Public Service Commission should carry out their work well; adding that post of General Director should be assumed by technical people and should not be a political nomination.
MP Franciso Araujo from the ASDT Party also said that was is outlined in the law of Public Service that any people who had involved in political position in the party will not focus on their function but more focus on political activities.
