This proposes from CIA and ASIO.
It is incredible that UNMIT proposes the use of arms by private security, when the same UNMIT is totally against the use of arms by a future judiciary police !?
This is crazy if the UNMIT purpose for the private security to use weapons. Well, this is good idea but not for this time, we are not ready to allow the private security to hold weapons, we can imagine how many people will be suffering from this. Is this other trick that you are planning to disestablish this country so that your missions can me remaining in East Timor? Poor you!

we need to have LESS weapons, not more!!!
If ETAN had the correct facts they would know that the UNMIT advisor, in line with what you are all saying, actually said that UNMIT does NOT recommend arming private security companies, and that the matter of arms should be regulated by law. The newspaper headline was misleading - the rest of the article appears accurate.
