The State Secretary for Security, Francisco Guterres said the United Nations Delegations of the UN Security Council have canceled their official visit to Timor-Leste. “We have information that probably they will not come,” Guterres said.
Guterres affirmed that the Government has prepared some points to discus with the UN Security Council’s delegations, but unfortunately the visit had been canceled.
The objective of the UN Security Council delegations is hold meetings with state leaders and to participate in celebration day of the Timorese independence proclamation falling on November 28.
