President Jose Ramos Horta said he would announce his candidacy to run for presidential election in 2012.
"I will make an announcement about this next year. I have started to make consultation and I will announce it whether I will take part in the candidacy or not," President Horta said.
President Horta also called on the people to understand and analyze his recent statement to the Australian journalist saying, "at this time my mode is to say no, my mode can change next year."
President Horta added that he could say no this for his candidacy this year, but his mind can change next year and saying he would take part inthe candidacy.
