Dili,Timornewsline- Luta Hamuutk NGO has rejected the Government's plan of amending the country's petroleum funds law and firmly defends the presence of the Bank Payment Authority (BPA) in the country.

"The operational manager is a central Bank or any other public entities established by the National Parliament to manage the petroleum funds" Luta-Hamutuk Director, Merico Akara said.

Luta Hamutuk appreciates the efforts made by the Government to amend some Articles of the petroleum funds law, as it could benefit the country's development.

Petroleum funds law no. 9/2005 Article 15 about investment should be considered in many aspects, Vasconcelos said

Luta Hamutuk stands firmly to defend its perspectives and position over the Government's proposal, asking to amend the petroleum funds law no. 9/2005, especially some articles of the referred law; 2,9,11,12,15,17, and 24. Jose Amelio.
