MP Arsenio Paixao Bano from the Fretilin Party said it was better for the Government not to continue having dialog with Australia, because the Parliament had voted against its proposal of asking the Government to set up asylum seekers processing center in the country.
MP Bano made the comments in relation to Prime Minister Xanana Gusmao’s plan to meet with the Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard yearly of December in Bali.
Bano stressed that it is unnecessary to discuss on the proposal of setting up refugee detention center, as the Parliament firmly rejects it.
He added that Timor-Leste is not eligible to accept such a proposal, due to its security, geographical and economic conditions do not permit it.

DUMB politician!.. regardless of whether you ACCEPT OR NOT an issue with a neighboring country, as a politician you still need to talk to each other, to convey your intentions.
Otherwise you are just a dumb politician who sits there but know nothing about politics!
