The Social Democratic Party (PSD) Secretary-General, Marito Magono said the party’s President Zacarias Albano da Costa who is also minister for foreign affairs would not be found guilty, as there would some qualified lawyers to defend him in the court.
Magno affirmed that his party had hired a private lawyer and one public defender to help defend da Costa in the court trial.
“We are confident that our lawyers and defenders will firmly defend our president in the court,” Magno said. Magno hoped that this abuse of power case would be tried shortly, so that the truth could be uncovered.
