Foreign Minister Jorge Yeo said that the Timorese government should have good views to make a proper policy in preventing corruption in the country, Radio Timor- Leste reported on Friday.
Minister Yeo said system of law would not be able to combat corruption if communities had the same cultural corruption by bribing any authorities.
He added that corruption would end when civil society, state bodies and all the country's people contribute to the efforts of prevention.
Yoe explained that Singapore had its own anti-corruption mechanism, system of financial controlling and also mechanism of charging commercial crime that makes his country free from corruption.
