The Timorese National Petroleum Authority (ANP) President, Gualdinho da Silva has confirmed that the Woodside Company has decided to cancel its option of having Floating LNG.
Da Silva said they had canceled their option, but they would present other three options such as Australia LNG, floating LNG, and Dili LNG. Da Silva added the ANP set time to the Woodside and its partners to present their research findings prior to this year.
“ANP has set the time to them for presenting result of their study of the three options in this year before they make another decision,” da Silva said. Da Silva added that the ANP would maintain its position and seek for solution that would benefit Timor-Leste and Australia.
