Prime Minister Xanana Gusmao has called on the local residents in Kovalima district to help the Timorese National Police (PNTL) in hunting down “Ninja” groups led by the CPD-RDTL and Buamalus that aimed to destabilize the country.
Gusmao made the comments during a closing ceremony for police operations in Kovalima and Bobonaro district last Friday.
Gusmao also thanked and congratulated the local residents in the area, as they had helped the police during its operations.
