President Jose Ramos Horta has called on the Timorese people to be careful with the political parties’ falsehood words, as it could push people to fight with each other and emerge act of violence.
Horta stressed that people should not fall into the political parties’ maneuvers, as it could damage the people’s relationship.
The president made the comments during a dialog with martial art clubs in Ermera district. Meanwhile, Bishop of Dili Diocese, Monsignor Alberto Ricardo da Silva called the young people who were joining martial art clubs to stay away from act of violence for strengthening national unity.
A representative of the martial art clubs called on the Timorese politicians to be careful in speaking and called on them not to provoke situation.
