President Jose Ramos Horta said he did believe that Prime Minister Xanana Gusmao would build proper infrastructures for security authorities in Timor- Leste.
“I know the prime minister has concerns over equipment and infrastructure in the field of security. I do trust that the prime minister will build proper infrastructure in Timor-Leste,” Horta said.

Horta made the comments in relation to the Border Police Unit that was still facing facility shortcomings.
Horta also said solution to resolve the Naktuka border case was not to place the defense force soldiers there, but it should be going through dialog.
