Things getting murkier and murkier! According to nacional law, MPs, members of government and diplomats enjoy some sort of immunities. In another words, the law protect them if decisions that are against or might be considered as against the national law. The decision to release Maternus Bere is one of many in the case of East-Timor. However, it sounds that the Justice Minister is not immune as she has been singled out as the sole guilty party when there were many ministries that were involved, e.g. Ministerio de Assuntos Internos, MNE, PM and PR. Are the other ministers and the two latter immune from such a dreadful decision?
