Deputy Prime Minister for Management and Public Administration, Mario Viegas Carrascalão said he would not be afraid of Prime Minister Xanana Gusmão to sack him out of his political post.
“I am concerned about some MPs who have started talking a lot in the Parliament asking for PM Gusmão to dismiss me from my current post as Deputy PM just because of my recent criticism against the Government,” Carrascalão said.
Carrascalão added that his recent criticism was not against the Government but it was against some improper systems and policies of the Government.
“I am not intended to criticize the Government as a purpose of toppling down the Government, but my criticisms is aimed at improving working systems based on the Government’s compromises, because when I was appointed by PM Gusmão to become his Deputy is intended to reform administration of the Government,” Carrascalão said.
