Minister for Justice, Lucia Lobato said presence of the audit court and police of investigation would help combat corruption in the country.
The minister made the comments after meeting with the Anti-Corruption (KAK) Commissioner, Aderito de Jesus Saores on Monday (19/7).
Lobato said her meeting with the KAK commissioner was about talking on the establishment of the audit court shortly.
“We were talking on the establishment of the audit court. The Government is now preparing a project, as in setting up the audit court we need to prepare law,” Lobato said.
She added that the establishment of the audit was important, because it would help combat corruption and would prevent unclear execution of the state budget.
