TNI INFILTRATES IN TIMOR-LESTE

The Indonesian Military Force (TNI) had illegally infiltrate area of Timor-Leste more than one kilometer squat on 24/6 in Naktuka of Citrana, Oecuse Disctrict.

“Yesterday (Thursday) they cross illegally the border and brought Merah Putih flag with them and driving car of force which completed with war equipments,” said Administrator of Oescuse Jose Tanesip Anuno.

He said that this was for second time they infiltrate illegally the border where at first they destroyed houses of the residents, adding that in the second time they destroy nothing.

“They come to our area about one kilometer squat but it is unknown to the Border Police Unit (UPF) and therefore the UPF was surprised with their presence and was about to shoot, but when the UPF commando see them, they apologize to the UPF commander as they had not inform them before,” Anunosaid.

He also called on the Government to hold negotiation with the Indonesian leaders in order to seek for solution to resolve this problem soon.

Meanwhile, Naktuka resident, Tomas de Carvalho has said that Naktuka is not belong to Indonesia but to Timor-Leste since their grandparents’ time up to this time.
