Fretilin Secretary General, Mari Alkatiri invited President Jose Ramos Horta to hand over certificate to Fretilin President Francisco “LU-Olo” Guterres as an accolade of Fretilin to Fretilin’s President.
Fretilin also hand over certificates to 41 ex guerilla fighters in the commemoration of ASDT transformation to Fretilin for 36 years.
“I am here as president of Republic express my respectful to all Fretilin’s Board Members of Committee, particularly to those who sacrifice their self for the country’s liberation since 1975-1977,” President Horta said.
He added, “When we come back in 1999 all things almost destroyed. It was started by Nicolau Lobato and I am here to express my respect to them who tough us their inspiration.”
