Bishop for Dili Diocese, Monsignor Alberto Ricardo has called on all the people to combat prostitution in the country as this immoral attitude could damage people’s dignity.
“Prostitution is a thing that should be combated as it will affect on the family life,” Monsignor said.
Monsignor said also called on all the young people of Timor-Leste no to engage in this immoral attitude and have to fight against it.
“If the prostitution continue appearing than it will impact on the mentality of the young people to study, indiscipline and incapable to manage him/herself to have commitment to make self improvement and developing this country,” Monsignor said.
