Parliamentary Majority Alliance (AMP) is dissatisfied with President Jose Ramos Horta’s attitude of welcoming Woodside Company’s delegations recently and suspects Horta of making something unclear. Therefore the AMP coalition forbids State Secretary for Natural Resource, Alfredo Pires not to publicize the feasibility study’s findings on the Greater Sunrise’s gas and oil field for negotiation.
The AMP coalition has strongly suspected the president due to the objective of the meeting was unclear.
The AMP said it was very concerned about the meeting between President Horta and the Woodside delegations last Thursday as it did not involve the Government’s representative, mainly the representative of the National Petroleum Authority (ANP).
State Secretary for Natural Resource, Pires recognized that the AMP coalition has asked him to keep well the feasibility study’s findings as confidential ones before negotiation.
