MP Tilman encourage people to ask PM Gusmão for dissolving AMP

MP Manuel Tilman from KOTA in the Parliamentary plenary session yesterday had called on all people to bravely asking Prime Minister Xanana Gusmão to dissolve the Alliance Government if its officials and MPs in the Parliament have not undertaking their work well.

MP Tilman said that people should decided to ask the government about this case in the public consultation held by PM Gusmão to ask residents’ opinion about the Government’s strategic plan for national development.

MP Tilman confirmed that MPs were well paid and facilitated by the Government but sometimes MPs were absent in the Parliament, adding that some of the Government’s officials had not respect hierarchy of the work and therefore he said it was eligible for the resident to ask for PM Gusmão to dissolve AMP Government.

“If the people dissatisfy with the MPs work because they are well paid and facilitated but have not worked optimally then it is better for the residents to ask PM Gusmão to dissolve this alliance and form another alliance,” MP Tilman said.

MP Tilman added that Government will feel shame if its officials continue engage in corruption and will not undertake their duty optimally in the future.

He also said that his party will in support with Government to implement its entire program although he dissatisfied with the work of some MPs and the Government’s officials.
