MP Aniceto Guterres from Fretilin, has threaten to publicize the report of the Parliamentary Inquiry Committee (KIP) if the Parliament will not include in its agenda to debate result of KIP’s report.
Kip was formed to hold investigation into the indication of corruption, collusion and nepotism appeared in the Government’s MTCI subsidized rice distribution.
“The Parliament should hold an appreciation into the report and we are now waiting for the Parliament to put in the KIP report in the agenda to be hold appreciation, but we will publicise this report and said that the Alliance Government has no will observe those act the breached the law and indication of corruption, particularly in the MTCI subsidized rice distribution,” MP Guterres said.
Meanwhile, MP Fernanda Borges, from the National Unity Party (PUN), has said that the Parliament should put the KIP’s report in agenda of the Parliament to be appreciated in order to hear idea of the MPs about MTCI rice issues.
According to MP Duarte Nunes from the National Congress for the Timorese Reconstruction (CNRT) has said that the Parliamentary Speaker Fernando “Lasama” de Araujo canceled to include the KIP’s report in the Parliamentary agenda to be appreciated because report of the KIP had not fallow the rule.
